What does a valuation involve?
We’ll arrange a visit at a time that suits you. We’ll look around your property with you, talk through your plans and any questions you have, and take note of the features that will appeal to buyers.
We’ll then give you our view of your property’s value in the current market, along with expert advice on the property market, marketing, presentation, strategy and all other aspects of selling a property in your area.
The person who values your property is the person who will handle your sale – one point of contact, from valuation to completion.
Honest, realistic advice
We believe in straight talking, transparency and honesty. Our valuations are based on our knowledge of the local, regional and national property markets – so you get a realistic figure you can plan with, not one designed just to win your instruction.
We’re particularly experienced with period, rural, listed and unique homes, which can be harder to value – and where specialist marketing makes the biggest difference.
If you decide to sell with us, our typical sales fee is 1% +VAT, all-inclusive, on a no-sale no-fee basis.
Good to know
A valuation, not a survey
Our valuations are estate agent market appraisals, for selling purposes. They aren’t RICS surveys – if you need a survey, we can put you in touch with a trusted local surveyor.
Need a probate valuation?
We also provide free, written probate valuations for executors, beneficiaries and solicitors.
